DNA tests and results can be very fickle especially the Autosomal test and although it can produce evidence that I am related to one individual who descends from John Brown Reading another individual also descended from John Brown Reading hasn't inherited the same DNA strands and so doesn't have a link.
Following the interesting DNA indication of a link between myself and the descendant of a Reading family from Birmingham I will, over time add that family to the tree on here until I am able to establish the link between them. At the moment there is a possibility of "my" Joseph Reading being a son of a Amos Reading. It would follow traditional naming to have Amos - Joseph - Amos - George - Amos William as father - son etc..
The DNA results indicate that I share a connection with a grandson of Ellen Reading, daughter of John Brown Reading. The family emigrated to near Wellington New Zealand in 1841.
Any person with "*!*" attached to their name are provisionally attached to this tree with no proof at all that they are connected except by the 2016 DNA results.
Other information has led to contact with another Reading descendant living in Canada who also descends from John Brown Reading, although there is no DNA connection.
This family tree was last updated on 2017.
